The Couple of Seconds You Don’t See Coming.

The Couple of Seconds You Don’t See Coming is a heartfelt, comedic, and bittersweet family drama centered on three siblings navigating love, loss, and personal growth. The eldest brother, James, a gay man in his 40s, moves in with his middle brother, Mark, a recently divorced straight man in his 30s, to help him through the emotional turmoil of divorce. The youngest brother, Ben, a straight man in his 20s and newly engaged, joins in occasionally to provide moral support.

Mark struggles to move on from his ex-wife, Claire, while balancing family responsibilities and personal desires. Claire reappears, seeking reconciliation, but the fragile hope is shattered when it’s accidentally revealed she is pregnant by the man she left Mark for. Ultimately, the play concludes with Mark and Claire choosing friendship over romance, emphasizing honesty, resilience, and the enduring support of family.

The Couple of Seconds You Don’t See Coming blends humor, drama, and tender moments, exploring love, forgiveness, and the messy but meaningful dynamics that bind families together.
